Kevin, Have you looked at VPi, (Visual Planner for Iseries) Infor's PC version of MPSP/MRP/CRP? might be an option. I'd check with your rep. or docs on Infor web site. Just a thought.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] MRP run time

I have a question regarding MRP run time. We've installed ISL and CFL which requires running MRP twice for some warehouses. The total MRP/MPSP run was taking about 4 ½ hours. Suddenly it jumped an additional two hours. There's no new data or program changes, we clear recommendations from PLNORD, ORDREV, and REQMTS before each run, we turned off the reports. Short of turning on another processor, what other suggestions are out there to make MRP/MPSP run faster? We are on 7.8.
