Hi Iain

We moved to release 9 at release date in 2010 and are now at 9.1

We use re-order recommendations in manufacturing and purchasing but do
not auto release purchase orders only manufacturing ones.

Purchasing do manually use the recommendations to create orders

Haven't had any issues in that area I can recall - what problems are
you encountering?

Release 9 is a significant upgrade in that the architecture has
changed and there is now IDF level 1 so most functions are available for
users in powerlink negating the need for green screen in most areas.

subject: [MAPICS-L] Re-Order Recomendations In Procurement

Hi all

We use the Re-Order Recommendations process to release POs every Monday
morning. Every time we move up a release we have problems. We moved from
5 to 6 and had problems. We moved from 6 to 7.8 and found it had not
been ported across and Infor had to do a quick fix. Now we are looking
to move to R9.0 and are having issues (we are still testing).

Is anyone else out there using Re-Order Recommendations ?

Has anyone who has moved to R9.0 had any issues ? It appears to us that
R9.0 is not that much different to R7.9

Regards

Iain
