James:

Depending on the model of your HP laser there are some flash cards available.

If you do a search on Google with "IPDS Flash Card/Dimm" you will see a PDF under
www.stethos.com/emulation/ipds/data/d_us_ipds.pdf that will give you all the information you need.

I hope this helps

Steve

Subject: [MAPICS-L] IPDS printing on V7R1

Hello ML,

Got a new V7R1 box (replacing V5R1!!!) and looking at ways to print our bar-coded print files from MAPICS.

Currently using IPDS via twinax to a protocol converter attached to HP laser printers centronics (parallel) port.

I think perhaps twinax to ethernet would be the immediate solution, but I just think there's probably a better way to do it now.

Appreciate any tips you can provide to speed-up my deployment.

I realize this my question is not MAPICS specific, but since it's only MAPICS output I'm concerned about, I figured someone else here found a budget consious solution!

Thanks in advance!
