I think you can do this with command SAVCFG, this will save all devices,
controllers and line descriptions to a tape or SAVF and
then use command RSTCFG by object name

This is not a Mapics specific question, but I wonder if anyone can help.

We have an i520 and a new i720. I want to create all the Writers and OUTQ's
that I have on my i520 on the i720 and I want to know if there's a way to
automate that or save device descriptions and copy them to the other
machine somehow (perhaps ftp).

Any help would be appreciated.
