The current version of XA is R9. XA R5.5 is circa 1998.

A replacement for the Accounting Management (AM) suite of applications (GL, AR, AP) which were written originally for IBM System 32 (while still available)has been offered since 1994. The current version of Financial Management application suite are JAVA based, visual tools that together with Performance Management or F9 provide excel and web based financial reporting tools that out of the box are SOX, GAAP and IFRS compliant without 3rd party add-ons such as Pacioli.

Kevin,
What do you mean by "current financial applications? Were running
XAR5.5 AR and version 3.048 of the Pacioli Accounting Suite.

Assuming you are on the old AM financial applications, yes once a month
is what is possible.

Current financial applications introduced in 1994 provide many new
features including the ability to run ad hoc statements at anytime.
They also allow you to run them "as of" a date.

Is it possible to run statements more than once a month? We always run
them at month end but sometimes a customer would like a statement ad
hoc.
We're on XAR5.5.
Thanks in advance,
BB
