Another comment. I don't know how long it takes to backup your system
and what your time constraints are, but you could do the unattended
MAPICS backup to disk just prior to using Backup assistant and include
AMSLIB in the backup process.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Backup question

Running Mapics XA

We are currently backing up Mapics data using the Mapics procedures in
AXZU11 - Schedule Unattended Backup

Question is, does this do anything other than backup Mapics data to
tape? We want to start backing up all of our data onto one tape using
Backup assistant rather than having to work around application backups.
If we stop doing the Mapics backup and include the Mapics libraries in
the regular backup, we can do it all in one step. The fear is that
Mapics is doing something else. Fear founded or not?
