This is a guess. MPWM530 was closed and purged sometime after the IP
transaction. Then it was recreated with the same item number, etc. If what
I suggest is true your MODATA records will not contain the IP from 12/9/09.

In our company we have recreated MOs from time to time intentionally to
capture time and material that was overlooked.

activity)

Hi list!

I have a mfg order (MPWM530) that had a last activity date of 12/9/09.
Today, the client checked that the last activity date is equal to 0/00/00.
This mfg order has obviously had activity, so it should have a last
activity date. The last time the client ran a report where the date
12/9/09 appear was on 1/12/10, so it disappeared sometime between then and
today (1/18/10). I checked IM History and I do have transactions:

TR POSTING WAREHOUSE U/
CD DATE ITEM NUMBER NO/LOCN QUANTITY /M BATCH/LOT
IP 12/09/09 P2052592 P2 84RACK 410.000 IN 204295
IX 12/08/09 P2028167 P2 200.000 EA

Is there any MAPICS process that may intentionally clear this field? Do
you have any possible ideas of the reason why this may have happened?

Thanks in advanced,
