This Windows 7 specific issue has been resolved with R7.8 fix build level 31.17 which is now available from infor365.com. This level must be applied to the global environment as well.

I can get Powerlink to work on Vista , right out of the box, no problem.
Windows 7 is somehow blocking the program. Problem is, not sure how it
is doing it.
I told the firewall to allow it, turn off user control.
And going back to XP on this machine is not a option right now.

Is it supposed to work on Vista? 7 is just Vista fixed, IMHO. Find out
what it takes to get it to work on Vista, do the same on 7, and it will

Infor support seams not to want to help me with this, since
they are not supporting Windows 7 yet. And since you can't buy a new
PC
with XP on it anymore. I would think that they would get onboard with
Windows 7.
Normally support is really good, but in this instance, I think they
are
being short sighted.
