Hello All.

My users are beginning to experience allot of TCP2617 errors.

The errors occur when they are using PowerLink, and the error will

show on their PowerLink browser as a java error. But on the AS400 side,

I can almost always see a TCP2617 error. And it's usually type 2 or 3.

The user activities with PowerLink that cause the errors , are 1.
In-activity.

2. Loading a workbench, or 3. Invoking the Task manager on the desktop.

I think it has something to do with the windows firewall (i.e. blocking
ports or closing ports), we run XP pro

on all of our PowerLink workstations. Am I correct in thinking that the
Window firewall is causing these errors

and what is the port range that PowerLink operates in?

Has anyone had this kind of problem before and what did you do to fix
the problem?

Many thanks in advance.
