What would happen if someone tried to clock on to an outside operation?

I'd recommend cjanging them to outside operations with zero cost instead of inactive Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Reporting quantities against an "inactive operation"?

Good morning /afternoon to the list!

Our business has changed all inspection activities from Direct Functions
to Indirect Functions. For this reason, all inspection operations on
routings are being changed to inactive status ('00') to ensure that NO
direct labor is scanned. Our challenge is that the Operations Group still
requires a quantity to be entered as complete on inactive operations.

Is this possible with "vanilla MAPICS"? If not, anybody has any ideas or
experiences on the subject?

TIA
