Yes, there is an application "Supply Web" which has all the functionality
including, web portal, EDI and web based ASN's, Dispute resolution,
Non-conformance material tracking, bar code labeling, in transit tracking,
electronic kanban, supplier managed inventories, vendor score cards
(replaces the limited functions in purchasing and procurement management)
etc. etc. The list is very long.

It is a three year old module that interfaces at R7.8 and has been enhanced
with new functionality approximately every six months. In R7.8 you can
"publish/print" a P.O. electronically to Supply Web and your vendor can see
it in real time. Oh year, true forecast and production planning interfaces
as well.

Price depends on number of users. But the pricing I have seen is very, very
reasonable.

Base version 7 release 8 (R7.8) has the interfaces built in to the
transactions.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Release 7 supplier portal

Is there a web portal function in release 7 for communicating to vendors?
If so has anyone used it? Is it a base option of release 7 or a separate
application? Are there any additional fees above base release 7 for this
option?
