Re: MRP Puzzler...

My apologies to this august list.

It was NOT a blanket line, just a regular CO line item. Quantity was originally 250, we shipped 242, reduced the order qty to 242 and cancelled the B/O. We were getting a planned order for the 8 on "backorder."

Last night I ran the 'audit allocation' and 'audit location' and 'audit on order' and then re-ran MRP and it seems to be calculating planned orders correctly now, but I still show 8 on back order in the CO line view in field "Backorder quantity" cdz902.

Thoughts?

Blanket line on a CO. We deleted release 1 on 10/21/08. Ran full regen MRP this weekend. MRP Recommendations Source of Demand pegs the planned PO to the deleted release.

Any ideas?
