I was at Ross Freeman's discussion session on Thursday. Ross did a great job of winning the room, by listening to many of the complaints, summarizing that they all seemed to have to do with finishing the IDF, and committing to "getting it right" in the next release.

There was consensus in the room that we, the customers and affiliates, need to stay on message and let Infor know that finishing the IDF is our priority. I think the idea is that if there is a clear picture at Infor that a whole chorus of XA customers are saying the same thing, it is much more likely that resources will be allocated to get the job done.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Infor Conference XA Roadmap...concerns

I was wondering if anyone on this LIST was able to attend Ross Freeman's Roadmap session on Thursday and the "discussion" afterwards. I wasn't able to attend the Thursday session but attended Kari Miller's session on Tuesday. I was very concerned about the XA Roadmap and the timeline to finish up IDF (including PICK/PACK/SHIP and IFM) development. I think customers and affiliates voiced concern on Tuesday's session to Infor's progress on moving XA forward. Kari and Ross mentioned that the Roadmap is "adjustable" but based on Infor's past relating to XA...I am skeptical.

If anyone was able to attend the Thursday session, please post feedback or if others have comments...join in.

Thank you,

Kauhi
