Hi everyone,

I have auto content security set up at the user profile level to only allow the user to see records for a specific customer. I then open the object to display the list of records. I select a particular subset. The list only shows the records for that specific customer and for that specific subset. I then click on my Mass Program Action which I created to retrieve that subset of records and download to a file on the AS/400 which I will turn into an excel spreadsheet and email.

The only problem is the Mass Program Action does not take into account the Auto content security resulting in a subset of all customers records.

So, is there a way for Mass Program Actions to take into account auto content security?

I have tried to access the data in file USRVLS which is the MAPICS file that contains the customers that I have specified that a user can view. However, I have not been able to manage the GRAPHIC fields which contain the data in the file. So, I guess I really just need to know how to read the data in those GRAPHIC fields and compare it to the customer number in the records returned by the subset SQL statement.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks

Chris Neely
