Shelf life came with the lot/location (controlled warehouse) stuff years
ago. It actually goes back to the old GMD SLALOM (stock location and lot
management) add-on that IBM purchased and wove into the product to become
LLM (remember when controlled warehouse was an additional module?) Even
further back, GMD bought the basic add-on from Anna Jones (later of Phoenix
Software and MAPICS magazine, she wasn't Jones back then, but I can't recall
her maiden name) along with Purchasing.

Dave, thanks!!! When (and how) did shelf life control get added? Or is
that one of those things that I should have known about and somehow missed?
