Substitution occurs at order entry time, if I remember correctly... so it shows the sub item all the way through.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] COM Item Substitutions

To the list,
Is anyone using the COM substitutions function? Here is my basic question: If I substitute item #123 with item #ABC and ABC has a lower cost, what shows as being shipped, what prints on the invoice, etc. We still want to show the customer the original item number, too.

Thanks...
Eric
