I used to work in a shop that ran an application called AnyDate that
allows you to override the system date/time.
We had multiple MAPICS environments in different times zones and this
application kept the time local.
Worked great without having to use partitions.

AnyDate was from Advanced Systems Concepts which has since been purchased
by HelpSystems.
I don't know if HelpSystems still markets it.
