Mike,

A few years ago, I had clients using MAPICS, DMAS, MMAS, etc.. without
being in Manufacturing nor Distribution.

One was the State of MN, they used DMAS (essentially MAPICS) GL, AP, and
PR with no problems.

Another was a dinner theatre that used the PR, GL, and AR applications of
MMAS, a predecessor of MAPICS.

I believe that the Accounting and Financials are the essentially the same
for all these Applications.

Thanx,

Nick

[MAPICS-L] New to the MAPICS Listserv

The college I work for is in the market for a new iSeries based
GL/AP/Payroll/HR system. A couple of local iSeries users use mapcis but
all are in manufacturing. Is there anyone on this list using Mapics in a
college environment?
