Order policy code controls what goes on this report. There are 2 (B and C in
the old system, 'order point, order quantity'; 'order point, order up to' in
browser) that put the item on the reorder system. Any other order policy
code tells the system that this is an MRP item. It's okay to use an MRP
order policy code if you don't have MRP up and running - you just won't get
any reorder recommendations (which is what you want).

By the way, MAPICS IM will calculate the order point from estimated annual
usage and carrying cost but will only calculate order quantity if you have
forecasting and only for items with outside demand (sales).

subject: [MAPICS-L] Reorder Report

Is there anyway to stop items from showing on the reorder report? The
E:Info sitesays to place -9,999,999.999 in the order point field. We have
MRP, but are not using it at this point. Any suggestions would be
appreciated. Thanks.
