Nick:

We don't use the offline file to create inventory transactions, we just
populate TRDATA records. So I probably wont be much help. Whenever we
have noticed behavior that is different than when using the green-screens
it has always been due to us not populating a field or populating it
incorrectly. I would check that all the fields are populated correctly.

[MAPICS-L] Offline TW (IW & RW) transactions

Hello everyone.

We are XAR6 and V4R5 of the OS.

We have created a scanning program to allow the Users to scan TW
transactions. This in turn creates an IW and RW transaction in the
Offline File.

The problem we are having is the User's don't like to use the scanners on
these transactions because the RW transaction that is created turns on the

Inspection Flag, and somebody else has to go in and "Inspect" it, before
Inventory will see it.

When they use the normal menu option to enter in a TW, the flag does not
get set on.

Does anyone know if there is a way around this?

Thanx,

Nick
