Yes, Lloyd... We have the same problem at month end closing and have
made many request over the years to Mapics and Infor for an automated
procedure to take care of all the issues with users and printing of
reports closing IM and COM at end of transactions and shipping with user
who want to get back on. Our VP's want the last day of the month to be
just that close IM and COM automatically wit no user or IT involved. We
have our non XA reports automated and like the function of IM period
close and COM company close to workout. Will let you know how it turns
out.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Question for the group

Does anyone else have the issue with closing a period, running reports
for closing inventory levels etc., but then find out that your reports
are wrong because shipping/receiving had activity before your report
finished? Is there something that I am missing?

It would be great if I could push a button and have 50+ user profiles
deactivated, basically all but a few profiles in Finance, then push
another "Magic" button to reactivate the users? on second thought that
would not work 'cause it would not log them out if they were already
in....

Wonder if I hold Unattached batches? Any other Ideas besides firing
people who break the rules?
