I see no problem with continuing discussions about this user group here as long as it stays on topic, since it's MAPICS related. As it states in the mailing list guidelines that get sent out every month, "Any discussion related to MAPICS in particular or ERP systems in general is acceptable." Discussion of MAPICS-related user groups fits under this umbrella, I'd say. Although technical discussions and how-tos are the bread and butter of the list, wider discussions have always been allowed in the past, and I only see one member objecting to this one at the moment. Although I sympathize with his frustration at receiving email he isn't interested in, I'd remind him that delete is just one button or one click away.
