Try a user field, or any without specific MAPICS use in VENITF
(vendor/item), that is if you have PUR or PM

Kind regards,

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Approved Manufacturer

XA R6, EPDM

Many of you, no doubt, have approved Vendors. I also need to be able to
track the approved manufacturer for certain components. I have scoured
what I think are the correct tables and I found no place to store
approved manufacturer data in relation to an item.

I have some ideas on how to make it work, but I wanted to ask this very
useful group if I am just having a senior moment and missing the table
and fields, or has anyone else has solved this and is willing to share.

TIA!!

Charley
