Hi Greg
I am pretty sure the reason your SLALLO file is empty is because you have
not turned on Batch Lot Control. This is all controlled by a setting on the
warehouse master file and item master file. We just upgraded from XA 4 to
XA7 last year so I am pretty sure that XA 4 will handle this. I can give you
more specific information on batch lot control if you need it. Just let me
know. Thanks

Hi List,

We currently print a pick list at order entry time but will be moving
toward allocating items as they are manufactured and assigning them
to orders based on a priority code. Pick list would only be printed
when the order is going to be picked.

I have never needed to be knowledgeable about what is available in
native MAPICS (XAR4) to accomplish this. I know about the SLALLO file
but ours is always empty.

Any help including pointing me in the right direction would be
appreciated.

Anyone going to the COMMON conference and wants to discuss this over
a good meal - my treat - contact me. 717-762-9141 ext 246 to coordinate
a meeting.

Any MAPICS contract programmers in the Baltimore/Washington area can
call me too.

Thanks In Advance,
Greg Wenzloff
