If you key: GO DISKTASKS on the 400 command line. Option 1 is to collect disk
info. Run in off hours. you could then print the report (option #2) or qry a
file QAEZDISK in QUSRSYS sort it by size in descending seq. It will show you
all your large files biggest to smallest..
Also RCLSPLSTG (reclaim spool storage).
Mapics re-org is always good. Do you have a test env. Can some of those files
be cleared. Like IMHIST. Do you need millions of records in the test env.
Hope this helps

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Not MAPICS Related Question
AS-400 related question:
What log and history files does the AS400 create and what commands can I
use to delete, prune or otherwise manage them.
We're running MAPICS on a machine installed around 2000 and haven't done
any file maintenance since installation. I know there must sizeable
files on the system that I can purge but don't know how to.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Jim
