Thank Kris. This is what I thought, I just wanted to make sure.

Re: [MAPICS-L] QC Locations

The location type code by the MAPICS book, but this hasn't kept us from
using the 2nd as the rule we apply. It actually depends on what you want
to
do with items located in these locations:
nothing special --> use option 2 (or any other rule you invent)
see "the mapics manual" --> use option 1
something very special --> use option 2 and start writing your add-ons
(I like integrator for this)

Don't forget: write in your organisation's procedures which is your choice
and live by it.

Good luck

Subject: [MAPICS-L] QC Locations

Hello all,

I have a question, or clarification, on QC Locations.

We are at XAR6.

What defines a 'QC' Location?

Is it:
1) the Location Type Code (LCOD2) in the SLDATA record = 'Q'
2) or all Locations that begin with a 'Q'

TIA,

Nick
