In addition to using Jacana (IWP) to extract the pricing information from
Mapics, you could also consider our business analysis product, inTuator.
With inTuator, you could extract the pricing data for customers, then send
it to salesreps for use in an offline mode. That way salesreps could see
not only a single customer's pricing but review all of their customers with
similar pricing or find pricing for similar types of customers. Providing
an overall view of his customers, all in a remote / disconnected mode.

Momentum Utilities is the developer of Info WorkPlace (IWP), inTuator and
JacanaForms.

Yes, I did the same as Terry did, and used Jacana. However, I am
currently getting beat up for Browser based support, Both on AND off the
Web.

Doug,

We had a similar issue here, what we ended up doing was writing a jacana
report that customer service can run at any time.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Pricing Inquiry

Just wondering if anyone has somehow integrated the pricing inquiry into
either browser, PowerLink, or a web site? Our customer service people
have been asking for sometime to have a pricing inquiry in browser, like
green screen COM>2>5. Our sales rep are now asking for a web pricing
inquiry so when they are doing a customer visit they can quickly lookup
the customer's actual price of an item via the internet. We are using
the standard COM pricing logic. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Doug
