Greg,
One of my customers has been using those fields for basically the same reason for many years. I believe it is not used by anything in XA. BTW, when are you going to get off of R4?

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Priority ID

The Customer Master file has a field called Priority ID (BFGQCD) and the
Order Header file has a field called Priority (C6GQCD). On my system
these fields are currently unpopulated. If the customer has a value in
this field it will be placed into their orders by MAPICS software.

We are thinking of loading the fields with a code which will be used at
order shipping time to give priority to certain customers.

Is anyone aware of any problems with using these 2 fields for that
purpose?

TIA,
Greg
