I'm sure that's a tailoring question.

[MAPICS-L] Pick List Process Question

In recent weeks we have seen a spike in some capacity constrained line and

are running into a problem with Mapics inability to have multiple
unshipped pick list open for an particular line item. An example of the
problem we have is as follows.

We have 50 of ABC in stock at 5am but require 100 so a picklist 123
generates for the 50 out that are available.
At noon we receive 200 more of ABC but pick list 123 has not processed yet

so no additional pick list can be generated
At 3 pm we process pick list 123 and at 4pm we invoice, since we shipped
at 3pm we can now generate a new pick list but it waits until the next
morning at 5am when we generate our next pick list.

How are other list members dealing with the fact that only one pick list
can be generated at a time?
