Thanks for the reply. I am getting the same even when I do not have that. But 
that works like a charm, when I try to post it using javascript post

strRequest = "<?xml version='1.0'?> \n <!DOCTYPE System-Link 

In this line you should delete "\n" to get a wellformed XML-file. It is 
easy to check this:

Copy and paste the string from program into notepad. Save as "test.xml". 
Now open with InternetExplorer. If there is any problem with the XML you 
wil find it now.
