Integrator is the solution, you can use user exits, triggers or 'user
actions' to perform this type of calculations.

Re: [MAPICS-L] Calculations in Browser

I don't believe you can do this in Browser or PowerLink at this time
although coincidently I just sent in a suggestion to add that type of
capability. Specifically I suggested adding a feature that would allow
users to define attributes and then use those defined attributes in
subsets or views. I also suggested adding the capability to compare
attributes in subset tokens. As to your issue, you could run a
scheduled RPG program or use a file trigger program that pre-calculates
the amount you want and loads it into one of the User Fields in POITEM
which would then be available in Browser/PowerLink.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Calculations in Browser

I'd like to take create a view of PO showing item with on-order
quantities and multiply the on-order quantity times the item's cube and
weight to get an item total and a column total. Can calculations such
as this be done in browser?

TIA
