Eric,

Interesting thought, but... we discreetly allocate the inventory when it is
picked and logged into the OFFSHIP holding files. We know the parts are
on-hand - it is verified in advance. Plus, this has occurred in both our
controlled and uncontrolled warehouses.

Due to SEC regulations, we bill our trailers out of an in-transit
warehouse, which is uncontrolled. But our parts and accessories (mostly)
bill out of our standard warehouse, which is controlled. Same problem in
both warehouses.

Plus, as I said, if you run the records back through, they usually will
post correctly.

Dale,
I have two of my customers using the Offship process and I think the only
difference is that the warehouse being shipped from are not a controlled
warehouses. I created a quick query on Ann's suggestion of linking MBCOREP

and IMHIST and I did not have any missing records.

With controlled warehouses, is it possible that when the record is coming
in
that the Location exists but by the time it is being processed, the
location
is empty. I think I read somewhere that when a location has zero quantity,

the SLQNTY record is deleted. Does you install/tailor allow for negative
quantities?

Just some more food for thought...

Eric
