Bullet proof? Do you subscribe to the emails that come out all the time
detailing the PTFs Infor releases for XA? :-)

Not that I am bagging on XA, but our migration to R7 wasn't at all
stable until PCM level 4021 was applied.

I hate to disagree with you but I work at two companies, a Mapics one
and a System 2000 one. VAI does have good documentation and a better
customer support staff than Infor. Where Mapics excels is in the fact
that their code is bullet proof where VAI still has some rough edges to
it. However these errors are minor.

Over the past few years I have contemplated switching the Mapics company
over to VAI, but have always hesitated because I am a one man
department. There is precious little time for me to do my normal day to
day routine let alone a big conversion project. But push may come to
shove if when we look at upgrading the hardware next year I am looking
at a Mapics bill in the thousands.

Infor may be trying to compete with SAP, but at what cost? Losing all
their SMB customers?
