Not sure if you had this answered yet, but we end the U-Jobs in a CL
before doing a backup.  According to Mapics, this was the code:

0027.00 /*  HOLD ALL MAPICS U-JOBS
*/      
0028.00              DLYJOB     DLY(600)

0029.00              CALL       PGM(AMALIB/AMZPDS0R) PARM('' '3' '*ALL')

0030.00              MONMSG     MSGID(CPF0000)

Does anyone have any insight on how to shutdown and startup the MAPICS
UJOBs from an outside program? We are trying to automate our weekend
save/IPL without having to manually shutdown the UJOBs and subsequently
start them back up from the QSTRUP program.
