I don't have any experience "bolting" to mapics, but I have seen some
integration between SalesForce and other ERP systems. There is a very extensive
API set that you can do pretty much anything you need to do.

I have a customer that is using SalesForce and then sending information to ERP
for creation of Customers, contacts, etc. Also, all ERP related data is sent
back to SalesForce. Sales Orders, Quotes, Projects, etc.

It gives their salespeople a full 360 of the customer.

They are now expanding to do cases (incidents), project quoting, etc.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Sales Force

Greetings list…..I’ve been lurking about for months now and taken away some
good advice. Now I wish to ask if any out there have any experience with
SalesForce (.com) and how it bolts up to Mapics (XA, Rel 6, PTF 7412) if at
all.

Any comments regarding this software are welcomed; as well as gotcha’s,
good/bad/ugly, etc.

Thanks
