There is also the APPTXT & PTFHST files in AMFLIBx... Again this would only
give you Mapics info...

Most of the information is contained in data area's in the AMALIBx library,
for example, see a partial sample list:

Object Type Attribute Text
AMAPMD *DTAARA 5733M73 Program Version, Release, PTF
AMBPMD *DTAARA 5733M79 Program Version, Release, PTF
AMCPMD *DTAARA 5733M71 Program Version, Release, PTF
AMEPMD *DTAARA 5733M76 Program Version, Release, PTF
AMIPMD *DTAARA 5733M75 Program Version, Release, PTF
AMJPMD *DTAARA 5733M7S Program Version, Release, PTF
AMMPMD *DTAARA 5733M7B Program Version, Release, PTF
AMPPMD *DTAARA 5733M72 Program Version, Release, PTF

The data area itself has the details, but not licensing information.
DSPDTAARA of AMAPMD shows this...:

Value
Offset *...+....1....+....2....+....3....+....4....+....5
0 '5733M73 is at Version 02 Release 06 PTF 6717'
50 ' Mapics Package SH15127 '

It would be possible to retrieve this programmatically using RTVDTAARA in
CL, or an "IN" operation in a RPG program.

Hope this helps,

Subject: Re: [MAPICS-L] Mapics License information

Tom, As far as I know there is not one place to look up this info. To
determine the mapics modules and release and ptf level you need to go to
Cross apps and look at PTF Status.
To look up license info you need to do the wrklicinf cmd, and find the
correct license product for the correct mapics release.

Hope this helps.

Dear List Members,
Is there an easy way of determining the license information of any given
Mapics environment? I'm interested in finding out information such as:
licensed modules, installed modules, user limit, expiration date,
version/release number, PTF level, etc...

I would think there's a file that exists within each environment that
contains such information.... I need to extract and record that infomation
for our Mapics host systems...
thanks in advance for your responses....
