One possibility is to configure the Exchange server to allow relaying
from the iSeries box. You may have your Exchange server configured to
not allow relaying so you may need to list the iSeries as an exception.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Forward of Iseries SMTP e-mail by Exchange Server

We are trying to configure our Exchange 2003 server to forward e-mail
from the iSeries. We are able to send e-mail from the iSeries
internally to valid addresses in our eecradar.com domain but cannot get
the Exchange server to forward an e-mail to any other valid addresses.
Is there a configuration setting on the Exchange server that must be
completed to enable the mail to be sent externally?

Thanks,

David Kemp
