In COM there's only 2 slick ways of doing non-standard things:
    - user exits
    - triggers
You'd be amazed what you can do with these, espicially if you consider
ALWRPTCHG on the 2nd.  Being inventive took me a long way without any MAPICS
COM program mods (and still does) .
