I've seen quite a few bugs in this area, but NEVER a mixup between qty and
amounts. Are you sure you didn't at the about the same time 'upgrade'
warehouse personnel ? Especially the "sometimes" and "equal to the qty"
lead me to check the user error possibility.
If I remember the screens well you can override the amount through user
entry

Subject: TRAMT with TRQTY for TW and RW transactions

> Hello Group,
>
> We are at MAPICS R6, PTF 6717 and our costing method is Standard Cost.
>
> We recently noticed that several TW transaction (but not all) that our
> user performed have transaction amount(TRAMT) same as transaction
> quantity(TRQTY) in IMHIST. This has happened only for TW and RW as the
> TRAMT logic for IW is different, so it went through correctly. For the RW
> the difference amount is generated as a variance in INVTXN.
