We use a utility called SilentPrint to print our PDF and Tiff drawings
with the shop packet. A CL uses the iSeries Remote Command to run a
batch program on a PC. The batch program then copies the drawing file
to a directory monitored by SilentPrint
http://www.funasset.com/Products/SilentPrint/formats_and_price.htm which
runs the native program to print the file to any windows attached
printer. I don't know what the file format is for Solid works but we use
it and store our drawings as Tiff or PDF files. I have also setup the
job packet to print to the same Windows printer (a remote outq) as the
drawing so that when multiple packets are printed, they are collated
together.

Subject: Printing CAD Drawing after MO has printed

Does anyone use CAD Venture - SolidWorks and has printed a drawing from
a RPG or CL?

I would like to print my MO then follow it with a CAD drawing if one has
been attached to the MO in the Browser.

The drawing stored in IFS.

Thanks ahead of time.
