RE: Paperless: JOB OFF Reporting by individual machines

Peter,

You could give your machines a badge# and use that to scan ON/OFF the
operation.  MAPICS Payroll now has a Classification for type "M" (machine)
to use with Data Collection.  When you set up the badge, you can put in the
name of the machine (i.e. LOG10 Drill Press #1)  Then you could query
MOTRAN, or if you have OBPM view the MOTRAN records via Browser.  This would
only work if you pay employees by Time&Attendance vs. JobTime.  This is also
assuming you have MAPICS Payroll.  You also have to setup MOTRAN records
(shop activity history records) to create in PCC, File Maint, Code files (If
my memory is working today).
