Hi Steve,

Best idea is to use the user exit for maintenance after the add, in other
words.  Collect the data, pass a variable to the maintenance program and
call it after the record is created.  The user won't know the difference and
the code is streamlined.

BTW what info are your trying to enter?

Does anyone know what program writes the Customer Master record when doing 
an Add?  We are running version 6 of Mapics.  We need to populate one of 
the user-defined fields when adding a customer, but can't find the program 
that does the write.
