If my memory is correct, Look in the Puchasing application (of CAS security)
for a security area named something like "Work with Purchasing".
Inside that area are task based on the commands WRKPURORD, DSPPURORD etc

It's me again - I just went to MAPICS security to revoke my authority to
use that menu option <because I wanted to see if that prevented me from
running the command from the command line> and found that I was NOT
authorized. But I can run the menu option and the command on the command
line. It shouldn't work that way. Something is not right.

Well I learn something every day. Guess I hadn't visited that menu. So I
can secure that option using MAPICS security. What prevents anyone from
typing it on the command line?

Thanks,
Greg

Why not just use the menu options available in Mapics. This one can be
found on AM6M90, option #3. For security, keep the commands out of the
users' hands and force them to use the menu options. This is a lot safer.
