I run this report every month and it gives you a total for printer output and spooling (e.g. .75% of total storage, 250MB) and other usful information about your system storage use.

It requires 2 long-running jobs, so submit them over night or weekend:

RTVDSKINF (to collect the data)
PRTDSKINF RPTTYPE(*LIB) (to print the data)

Here's an example:
