We are looking for a solution to a problem. What we would like to happen, is
almost accomplished with a flow type milestone, however we have found it to
have some issues. We have several facilities that run two types of work,
sometimes they are scheduled to run single operation batch type parts usually
with one operator per facility, and sometime they are running different
operations on the same part in a one-piece flow with a single operator running
all. Our issue is with the flow type work, we want to track actual labor time,
machine time, not back flush either, and only have the operator log to the last
operation to reduce the number of transactions. Also while scheduling the
Facilities we would like to overlap them in the schedule so they show being
used in the same time bucket. Typically the run quantities on the flow type
MO's vary quite a bit so we found the use of queue time or move time to offset
the facility run hours not an option. So if anyone has a creative solution were
all ears.

Thank-you in advance.

Terry
