Tim,

My name is David Becar, I work at Wilden Pump and we are currently on rel 6.
We tried to move to release 7 this year but had some big testing issues and
have chose to stay on rel 6.
We have also had the same problem with open batches and so we did some
training and made our IM employees responsible to check IM batches every
day. We provided them a CL program that executes a DFU program by batch
number that is used to close batches left in improper status. It has worked
very well for us, if you need a copy of the program I would be glad to
provide additional information.

Thanks,
David Becar Programmer/analyst

Subject: IM batches left open/suspended

Good morning - does anyone have a good solution re: MAPICS backup problems
due primarily to IM batches left open/suspended/active? - we are at XA 5.5
& plan on being on 6.0 sometime next year - thanks, Tim Bertnick w/
Plymouth Products.
