× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Here's a few :
1) test with the convertion without activation
2) test in another environment with activation
3) Don't rush into multiple revisions for 1 item or one routing for multiple
items
4) make sure you understand what a process is
5) remember: routing id <> item nr . Even if you think it is: it has been
retyped and there can be an error
6) There's dozens of ways you can get at another revision/routing/BOM than the
one you expect. Again: don't rush on the multiple untill you've understood
them thoroughly
7) yes, all PDM is gone (R6 and up) Therefore: review all queries & reports on
BOMs and routings
8) there are other fixes remember you may need to apply some
9) a new revision = new BOM
10) There is one thing which does not work: replacing BOM component/revision by
another revision of the same item based on from/to date (this may seem evident
or it may not) unless you also give the lines a user sequence (I'm citing from
memory here, there may be one more condition)
11) Keep a guy around who knows EPDM thorougly during start

Good Luck
