We found Veritas & Quantum did not support AS/400 objetcs, security, and 
of course RESTORE!

We continue to run two backup systems.

I believe Tivoli has a solution, if you're into that kind of overhead.

Jim,

I use backup to disk for my windows/linux servers, but not for OS/400
centric servers.  If I'm REALLY hurting for time, I'll backup to a SAVF
and then spin it off to offline media at a later time....
