The specific products and items are build to order. 

I know that the objective could be accomplished with MRP, OPC=G, DPS=0.  

MRP is run at night.  The ROP can be run on demand during the day and 
requisition created.  If MRP is the requisition source, requisitions are not 
available till the next morning, poentially loosing a day.

Any suggestions or approaches are most welcome.
