Invoice dates on CUSINV (DB mod 4)

OK, kind of related to previous topic on File Record Layouts...  On the
CUSINVL0 file, there are two dates:

Invoice Creation Date (ICDTCV)
Optional Invoice Date (IVDTCV)

Occasionally, I find that these two dates differ by not more than 1 or 2
business days.  The user that does the invoices tells me that he does not
enter a date anywhere and believes the differences may be when an invoice is
created and when it is printed, which may be on different dates.

Can someone clue me in?
